I assume that this is the place to raise issues about CXtoDVD. I had three single layer discs with two films on each discs, I was trying to improve picture quality by putting each film onto a disc of its own using this software. I was pleased with the resulting picture but there was no sound at all. (there was sound on the original). I enclose the following screen shots to give clues to you experts.

Well the only thing I can see is poor media and that would not cause a sound issue. ( I don't think) The source material would have to be known to see what audio streams were available and chosen.

leseil612, please dont use screenshots, access the log file through CX Help Menu and then 'Open log file'. That will open up the complete logfile in Notepad, from there so can u copy/paste the part/parts u want into a new txt file and attach it here.

Thanks Barough, I am willing to learn from you experts, I have learned a lot since I joined this site but I have still to reach the same planet as people like you, zebadee, alan, nextburner etal, but I intend to get there however hard I have to try. I don't have logs of previous failed attempts as I never thought of keeping them. I will make another attempt to copy one of the films on these double film discs and save the log as you suggest. Before I do though, I would like to ensure that I am using the correct software for my project.
I have two films on one S/L disc, obviously they have been greatly compacted. I wish to recode each film separately to a S/L disc and recode it back to as near possible the original quality with one film to a disc.
