Default HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE NEEDED

NOTE : TO PLAY BACKUP GAME DISKS ON YOUR WII CONSOLE YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE A MOD CHIP FITTED!

HARDWARE

To be able to burn wii/gamecube game disks to your hdd on your pc you will need a "LG (GDR 8164b) dvd-rom drive" or a GDR 8161, GDR 8162, GDR 8163. Nothing else will work. I purchased mine from here - CCL online For £15.72 with the p+p.

Also a dvd burner and some good quality media dvd+r or dvd-r.

SOFTWARE

You will need to have .Net Framework 2.0 installed. Download - Here

You will also need Rawdump 2.0 installed. Download - Here

If I'm using a DVD+R, do I have to change the Book type to DVD-ROM?

hey mate, most mod chips now support dvd + and - now with no need to booktype to dvd-rom. what chip do you have?

if you can booktype to dvd-rom, i would its the safest way to get a good backup.

Yes, I'm downloading it from interstate.
I've tried with: Nero, IMGBurn, Alcohol 120%, CloneCD... Everything, but it wont work. I can't even open the ISO in Winrar, which supports ISO- files.
