EVO (HD-DVD IMAGE) TO MP4 (AVC VIDEO HD) WITH 5.1 SURROUND SOUND(PLAYSTATION 3, X-BOX 360 & PC COMPATIABLE
FIRST THINGS FIRST
I DO NOT AFFILATE WITH NOR DO I CONDONE PIRACY. I WRITE THIS GUIDE AS A MEANS OF BACKING UP YOUR HD-DVDS AND EASILY MAKING THEM ACCESSIBLE VIA YOUR XBOX 360, PLAYSTATION 3 & PC ONLY! ALL THE HD-DVDS I HAVE DONE I PERSONALLY OWN AND ONLY DO IT VIA A MEANS OF BACK UP AND EASIER ACCESSIBILITY
This guide will allow you to create a MP4 (Video/Audio) from an EVO file from the original HD DVD with full 5.1 surround sound at the same exact quality. I will try to make this guide as straight forward as possible covering every step so anyone with basic computer knowledge could follow it.
i have done a conversion using the mininium settings and personally i thought it was ok ... but some are saying use the highest setting , i am going to try it out to see the results .
either one should work however i opt for version 4.3
it is vital that it is set up correctly

Sonic CinePlayer Decoder 4.3... Follow the install procedure and install to the default directory it prompts. After installation click on COMMAND PROMPT and type REGEDIT, then click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, then click on SOFTWARE, then click on SONIC, then click on CommonMPEGDecoders, then click on 4.2, then click on VIDEO DECODER. Now to your right you shall see a list of files. The file we need to change is called ALLOWALLRENDERS and is the second file from the top. Right click on the file and click on MODIFY. Change Value Data from 0 to 1.
google is your friend when searching for the decoder
if you are following the guide it does work mate when you put eac3 to into the HD folder make sure you copy all the contents from the extracted eac3 and the eac3 gui file into the folder otherwise it wont work
