Thats pretty impressive Nextburner. Some really strong points there.

BTW what memory are you using and what speed do you run it at. ?? Thanx.

I have since been running 8GB and OC'ed it @ 1066mhz i got a 0.1 addition on my memory as well .... LOL ! !

Personally i think my HD's respond very well. I can encode and transcode very well , and can burn with the best of them with the H55N. I think the HD Raid would be minimal effect performace wise , although i guess on benches and stuff it would show.

I currently have my dual boots installed on a 160GB Seagate Sata1 hard drive ( probably the reason it scores 5.2 rather than 5.4 -5.6 ). I intend to get a new one later this year , maybe a 1TB with 32MB catch ...

My new score :

Hi
All these ratings look out of date.
My was 5.4 with 4GB of RAM.
Doubling up to 8GB of RAM, resulted in a rating of 5.6.
My latest mobo with the latest BIOS (better memory control along with some other stuff).
Rating now 5.8,
No overclocking or adjusting voltages etc.

Hi
My memory is strictly budget. so I am amazed the score has gone up.
But my HDD's too have been a revelation, as currently they are not raided.
But no drop in score.
