I just made a clean install of Vista Ultimate. Everything went well. Now that I have installed all of the software that I use the most I intend to clone this partition onto my 2nd hdd. What surprised me is that after I checked the registry using CC Cleaner there was a large list of "problems". A thumbnail is attached.
I think to leave these "problems" alone and NOT delete them before making the clone. My question to you is, is it normal for the registry to have so many "problems" after a clean install??

Hi
Yes this appears to be the norm.
I fond it unbelievable too.
I delete anything that CCleaner, ASC Pro & Registry Clean Expert find.
Never had any problems by doing this.
I did that once and deleted all my Restore points, I didnt even realize it , I thought my System Restore was not working when I went to use it.
Hi
The programs in this thread ....(so far), are not going to touch the System Restore.
Apart from ASC.
Which you have to consciously remove manually.
It is also accessed via a separate menu to the "Reg cleaner".
