Microsoft to support XP until 2014 - vnunet.com . A letter was sent to all multi license users of XP. Read about it here. Window 7 should be here in about 18 months.

Thanks for the info alan. The kids and wife are all still on XP Pro (5 systems) My 2 are Vista Ultimate 32 and 64.

The kids do really well with XP and I don't need the expensive of new systems right now and XP is pretty much idiot proof.

But in reality anyone using a decent system will be long past XP by that date.
