No you can't I just upgraded my sons computer from windows 98 to xp pro and couldn't remember where half of the settings were to get him set up on it I have been vistafied for to long LOL.

I'll be doing a clean install on my Laptop over the weekend....
I would do it now but I don't have the CD, it is at home.
I have not installed vista in a long time on this laptop . almost a year now...

vista is still running well apart from my TV card stopped working after I upgraded the software for it. I now have 3 TV Cards installed on this Laptop I think the drivers / Codecs have gotten confused. :P I'll only install the main TV card I use now . Avermedia - AVerTV Hybrid Express Slim HC81

I'll be installing vista on a new HDD. Western Digital 320GB Scorpio Blue 5400 spin. It is only a 5400 spin but it is allot quicker than my current Seagate 7200.1 100GB 7200 spin.

I got the 320GB Very Cheap of a mate

I knew you would see the light...as for reformatting I doubt if you even come close to me...try the restore function and make an image with Vista it saves loads of time..
