As if MS has ever lost money on an OS. Look at all of the people that have jumped on Vista, with it's outrageous price tag, just to get another version of XP with more colors.

Vista will be supported I believe for about 2 years or less just like Windows ME was. As for the Vista alan1476 it's really not all that bad and I know a lot of users waiting on it to avoid Vista for what reason mainly? I think most will say the heavy DRM and if that is the case guess what......Windows 7 will be even more I bet. Just a thought.

Its not personal users I am mainly talking about, its business, and without the Business community behind it no OS will be a success. I will bet Windows 7 will not need 2gbs of Ram to run correctly. I will bet that they will test for conflicts with all major business programs, like accounting and others. If the business community accepts it , it will be a winner, if not it will go the way of Vista and ME.
