Is there a "genuine" way to tweak Windows Vista Home Premium so it does not suck up all your system memory? Just upgraded from 1GB RAM to 2GB RAM and Vista alone is using 1GB with no application running. Well I have Norton Internet Security 2008 on AUTO Protect.

There are several sites that offer some very easy ways to help make Vista more efficient..........Google "Vista Tweaks". One of the best sites out there is Black Viper's.
Personally, I would get rid of any and all traces of Norton.
Vista, possibly the safest OS yet...even virus' have incompatibility issues.
If you are looking for two good antivirus programs not free I would recommend kaspersky or nod 32 internet security suites they are very effective and have a much lower foot print than norton.
