Hi Simple ,

Been real busy at work m8 , so only just seen this thread dude.

The Voltage is very important , but so are the timings.

My problem was when building up this system with the new motherboard I could only run 2GB ram , of my 8GB. I changed the Voltage to 2.10 and my system crashed.

It was the timings that allowed me to get my system up and running with the 8GB ram , and then the Voltage was upped to 2.10 at the correct settings to get me a 5.9 score.

If you are sure your memory is recommended to run @ a 4-4-4-12 setting by the ram makers , then you should set it at that setting I think.
Then run the system at normal Volts and do a test in Vista. ! !
If its still not satisfactory then if your sure your ram is 2+V compatible then up it to your desired Voltage.

The ram i use is meant to be run @ 2.10 with 4-4-5-18 timings. It was running 6-6-6-18 @1.8V default.

If you are not sure and have a slight worry return the Voltage to normal. You "could" damage the ram if its being run at high volts with the wrong timings.

I am sure you will figure out a 5.9 very soon.

McT

Just found this on the ram i think you have m8. Although i know you have 4GB

The Twin2X2048-6400C4 is a 2048 MByte matched pair of DDR2 SDRAM DIMMs. This part delivers outstanding performance in the latest generation of dual-channel DDR2-based motherboards. It has been tested extensively in multiple DDR2 motherboards to ensure compatibility and performance at its rated speed. This memory has been verified to operate at 800MHz at the low latencies of 4-4-4-12. The Twin2X2048-6400C4 comes with Enhanced Performance Profiles (EPP), the open standard for performance module SPD’s jointly developed by Corsair and NVIDIA. EPP SPD’s on Corsair modules allow users to automatically configure EPP enabled motherboards with aggressive memory performance settings, for maximum memory and system performance.

This was one of the customer reviews on the ram:

Got this running at 2.1v @ 875Mhz with 4-4-4-12-2T timings....absolutely great!
