Under certain system configurations it was possible that Nero StartSmart crashed during start up. Nero – Nero 8 - Update Dont ask me what changed, I have no idea. LOL. This is all I could find

Despite Nero allowing me to apply this 'update' as an update.
Obviously a clean install is preferred.
Which is what I had to resort to.
To get all functions up & running.
