Hi
I don't currently have a 1640 installed, but never had any problems with CD/DVDSpeed at all.
Are you using the latest version?
If so, I suggest going back to an earlier version as this latest is full of bugs.

It works just fine with the latest Version of CD Speed. I have no problems with it.

I tried the latest version downloaded it from dvdspeed2000 or something like that and tried with Nero enhanced 7.0.0.10 or whatever that is the latest. I know the .10 is the latest build just can't remember the other numbers.

Have you/are you going to try an earlier version?
Is it sorted anyway?

Naw I just used qsuite some folks on Slysoft forum wanted a scanning test so hope that suits them.

I am a scanning freak
I spend too much time scanning to judge quality
I have now learned if it plays back good all is well and no scan can state different.

There's some humor and facts too.
