DOH!!! I JUST READ THE HELP GUIDE WITHIN THE PROGRAM ..
IM GOING TO GIVE IT A TRY
Step 2: Transfer the mp4 file to your PSP
Please connect your PSP to your computer. And then copy the mp4 file to the folder '\MP_ROOT\100MNV01' on your PSP.
Please note: the file name must be M4V*****.mp4 (* is a digital), and it must be transfered to the folder '\MP_ROOT\100MNV01'. If the folder doesn't exist, please create it first

Have you tried CloneDVD Mobile? It might be time to check out the free trial...

I convert movies for my iPod and my daughter's PSP all the time. Using CloneDVDMobile all you do is select the operating system of the PSP (apparently 2.60 is a watershed) and pick from one of two formats the PSP supports. I usually do the conversion directly to a memorystick plugged into a slot on my PC. You can also convert to your harddrive and then port over to the memorystick plugged into the PSP connected to your computer via USB. Works great.

I have used PSP Movie Creator for a year or so. It is very simple to use and transfers the DVD to PSP very easy. You can choose what codec to use, MPG4 or H264, and what bitrate to use. Not too expensive, I think I paid around $30. It will convert just about any kind of video to the PSP.
I think the software will let you copy about 5 to 8 min. of video for free to test it out, but you need to buy it for it to copy the entire movie .
Just my 2 cents,
Sam

They need to be put on a memorystick pro duo (or that's what my daughter uses). Here's the path that my program saved to on her memorystick: G:/MP_ROOT/100ANV01/MAQ10001.mp4. I would assume that the key here is that the PSP looks inside a directory called MP_Root for movie files.

After you convert your DVD to PSP format using Magic DVD Ripper, you should get a file M4V00001.mp4. Then please
1. Connect your PSP to PC using a USB cable.
2. Choose "USB Connection" from the Settings menu of PSP. Then you can see a Removable Disk is added under "My computer" in windows file explorer.
3. You should find a folder named MP_ROOT. Please create a folder "100MNV01" under the folder MP_ROOT. Then copy the file M4V00001.mp4 to the folder to the folder 100MNV01.
4. Click Safely Remove Hardware icon to remove your PSP connection.
5. Click X in PSP and then enjoy your movie in PSP.
I'm sorry our software doesn't make it more easy to transfer ripped file to PSP because it's not the main function of our software. Maybe we will add this feature in the future.
There is a freeware "PSP Video Express" which can convert other formats to PSP format. And it includes a PSP Video Transfer which will help you transfer .mp4 files to PSP easily.
