Great. I'm a lot more simple than you, but I figured out your cryptic message about your "rare" 1.5 firmware. Guess you selected the <2.6 when mobile gave you the option. |

It's not that rare any more. A Firmware Downgrader for V2.50 / V2.60 has been created based on the exploit game save (Grand Theft Auto ). So it is now possible to downgrade any PSP with firmware v2.60 or lower.
All you need is the PSP with v.2.50/v.260 + the GTA Game.
It's all over the PSP websites. I Tried it and it works prefectly, I went from Firmware V2.60 to V1.50.
I am now able to play Homebrew and Backups

okie dokey ... Nice one! .. This weekend .. I'll give you a crash course on Dev Hook. it is very simple to use .. infact over at Afterdawn there is a guide to follow.
Dev Hook .46 Super Guide (+USB+CustomF)
give that a try .....
what I would suggest is that you format your 2GB stick , Install Dev Hook
Create a folder on the root of the Stick called "ISO" then copy any back-up's ISO's you have. Dont copy anything else back onto the stick until you get the Dev Hook working.

with nero recode your movie will have to be converted to a folder with vob files. this is easily done with shrink dvd which will produce a hard disk folder ready for nero recode. how much space do you have on your memory stick for a movie you will need 1gb or more. the memory sticks are really cheap these days.
