After you convert your DVD to PSP format using Magic DVD Ripper, you should get a file M4V00001.mp4. Then please
1. Connect your PSP to PC using a USB cable.
2. Choose "USB Connection" from the Settings menu of PSP. Then you can see a Removable Disk is added under "My computer" in windows file explorer.
3. You should find a folder named MP_ROOT. Please create a folder "100MNV01" under the folder MP_ROOT. Then copy the file M4V00001.mp4 to the folder to the folder 100MNV01.
4. Click Safely Remove Hardware icon to remove your PSP connection.
5. Click X in PSP and then enjoy your movie in PSP.
I'm sorry our software doesn't make it more easy to transfer ripped file to PSP because it's not the main function of our software. Maybe we will add this feature in the future.
There is a freeware "PSP Video Express" which can convert other formats to PSP format. And it includes a PSP Video Transfer which will help you transfer .mp4 files to PSP easily. |

Simon,
The MP_Root folder isn't there until you create it. When I do this for my daughter, CloneDVDMobile creates the whole path on the magicstick. Your 1.5 firmware is old. The latest is something above 2.6. It's downloadable from Sony. Newer games also carry the new firmware and give you an update option when you boot up.

i have created the root folder and sent the converted movie there but still it wont play ??? i know the firmware is old but rare the hacking etc with this firmware are unbelivable as long as you know what you are doing thats why it as been left at 1.5 and of course i dont know what im doing
okay i will give clone mobile a try and then back to this

Great. I'm a lot more simple than you, but I figured out your cryptic message about your "rare" 1.5 firmware. Guess you selected the <2.6 when mobile gave you the option.
