Why are Slysoft Products the number 1 users choice ? ....
AnyDVD works in the background to automatically remove the copy protection of a DVD movie as soon as it's inserted into the drive, allowing you then to backup the movie using a DVD backup tool such as CloneDVD / CloneDVD mobile / 1ClickDVDCopy . You can also remove the RPC region code.

But I have to finalize them first. The Toshiba has its own finalizing program. Perhaps you don't want to archive but then you would not want to transfer to DVD-R.

By the way, editing out commercials is one of the benefits of RAM and DMPGEnc DVD Author. You just have to get the hang of Author and after a few tries its easy and very precise. More precise than can be done on a standalone with a hard drive.
Yes the Pannasonic does finalise the disk, but it still wont play on anny other player,i think its a quirk of Pannasonic.

No on a none Compatible DvD burner the file is not recognised.
On the NEC Ram Disk Compatible burner it brings the folder up and the movie can be played.

I have read on the LG forum how good a reader the Pansonic players are but I did not realize that the recorded disks that they make are not compatible with other players. Too bad. What is the model of the Pansonic Player-Recorder and does it have a hard drive?

I have a Panasonic DMR E55 which is in the bedroom and the recordings play on all of my other DVD players. I have had it about two years. That one plays all of the recordings made with 1Click Pro, no matter how I use AnyDVD or what Titlesets I remove. My other ones have the read problems unless I follow a set procedure with AnyDVD and the titlesets that I remove.

It is probably a problem with your Model or particular player-recorder. Well at least for the time being you have a solution.

Not all dvd players support dvd-ram disc playback. I rarely used ram discs in my Panasonic DMR E75, I have had it for several years now and the main reason I didnt use ram discs is at the time some of my other brand name dvd players didnt support ram discs for playback.

I am aware than ram discks do not play on standalone players or computer drives unless they particularly state than on there specks. However I think Peterpan is stating that his DVD-R recorded disks will not play on his other standalone players. Therefore he is recording to RAM disks and than converting to DVD-R on his computer so that the DVD backup will play on his other standalone players.

Peterpan, correct me if I am wrong!

Oh, ok. I copied quite a few movies on my Panasonic dvd recorder using at the time TDK Dvd-R 8X media and never had any playback problems on any of my other stand alone dvd players or in my pc`s, never had any problems copying them on my pc`s with various programs.
