Supported files
I captured a movie as an MPG (mpeg-2?) file with Roxio9, hoping to use Ripper to create a DVD.
But I don't see it in the profles. Can I use Ripper for this?

i dont think you can , but im not 100% positive as i havent got it installed this minute , i myself do use both magic products  but due to using someone else's machine i cannot check.
if it doesnt have a look here AVS Video Converter - a universal AVI to MPEG Converter, AVI to DVD Converter.
