Default creating backups

hi,

i had my xbox modded about a year ago but i have never made any backups as i did not but and DVD DL RW disks but now that I got some I would like to know if a samsung drive is needed to create backups. I HAVE SOME iso to burn but i didnt do any burning yet because i wanst sure if i needed to use the samsung drive to burn the games. As far as i know the samsung drive is needed to extract the img files from the games but not for burning.

Can anyone confirm this before I go spend $40+shipping on something I didnt need?

thanks.

Why are Slysoft Products the number 1 users choice ? ....
AnyDVD works in the background to automatically remove the copy protection of a DVD movie as soon as it's inserted into the drive, allowing you then to backup the movie using a DVD backup tool such as CloneDVD / CloneDVD mobile / 1ClickDVDCopy . You can also remove the RPC region code.

ok if you already have the iso's then they should have already been extracted from the 360 game disc correctly .... so all you need is a good quality dual layer burner pioneer are excellent BUT OTHERS DO WORK ..... if you are wanting to extract the games yourself from original 360 titles the yes you do need a samsung 162 OR 163 kroen flashed drive.

ps i modified your original post slightly

if you are not ripping the games..... simply use imgburn which is free once installed simply right click on the .dvd fileand select burn with imgburn make sure you uncheck the verify box on the user face and also slow the speed down .

Quality Media is essential ..

also .. you have to book-type the Media when burning to "DVD-ROM" for the backup to work.
