Default Package Mode- DVD Next Copy New Version

Hi everyone.. I am currently trying DVDNextCopys new version. It works very well except for the fact that I cannot get the " Preview Window " to work. It says I am in " Package Mode, preview window not available." I have watched all the tutorials and find nothing pertaining to this issue. Other than this, I am really surprised at the great picture it makes in .iso mode. I would be glad to discuss this with someone (maybe Code 1 ) and then I can recommend this program. Other than this issue it works great.

Why are Slysoft Products the number 1 users choice ? ....
AnyDVD works in the background to automatically remove the copy protection of a DVD movie as soon as it's inserted into the drive, allowing you then to backup the movie using a DVD backup tool such as CloneDVD / CloneDVD mobile / 1ClickDVDCopy . You can also remove the RPC region code.

Hi alan,
this occurs when copying a movie that is less than or equal to 4.s GB. it is copying the movie files to the temp folder faster than they can be displayed.

Hope this helps!

Hi Joel:
I will post a screenshot:

So if I understand this right, the movie must be compressing to have the preview window. I will try another movie and get back to you. Thanks.

That is correct alan if no transcoding or compression you'll get that window. I usually disable that option myself.

You are exactly right. I tried a movie ( Gladiator) that needs about 25% compression in movie only mode and the preview window does work. What mode would you recommend, fastest, or normal. After I burn the .iso I wil scan it and post the results. It seems to be compressing very slowly, but that can be a good thing if it is reading precisely. I will post my results. So the package mode is only in effect when the movie you are backing is less than 4.3 gig. This should be part of their flash tutorial and it would help alot of user who think the program is broken. There is interest in this program, I just need the answers.

My results of DVDNextCopy V 2.3.5.1.
The movie I chose to test was " The Gladiator"
Movie Only
Compression 25%
Transcoding time at " Normal Compression Mode " 31minutes 04 sec.
I think the transcoding time was about 2X the time of equally priced products.
I used the .iso mode.
I used AnyDVD V 6.1.2.9
The preview window worked flawlessly ( There should be mention that the preview window will only work with movies that have compression, anything under 4.3 gig, the preview window will show " Package Mode, Preview Not available" This should be explained in their flash tutorial.
I burned the movie with Imgburn at 12X using my BenQ 1620. The scan was excellent using MCC004 media made in Taiwan.
The movie compressed to an exact 4460mbs. This is a positive.
Other then the slow trancoding I think this program produces a great video and has alot of potential especially for users that need an easy program to navigate like 1ClicktoDVD. The good point of this program is that is works seemlessly with AnyDVD as does 1Click, and has the extra option of burning an .iso file that 1Click cannot. In my opinion, with a few tweaks this could be an excellent program.

Thanks alan I really rely on the big burning guru's to come up with allot of ideals and this is one I see that was overlooked and can be corrected in the flash and or online help.

So, let me see if I get this. If the movie is less than 4.3GB, the preview window wont work. Thats what you are trying to say then.

Yes I just checked and this is correct. Also if there is no compression needed then this will show too.
