dvdfab problem
|
|
just after I upgraded to DVDFab 5. When I am copying the whole process (DECRYPTING, COPYING, WRITING) all go thru and show completed successfully, I take the dvd out and you can see the outer line around the disc, as though it has been copied, but everytime I put it in my dvd player, my player gives a disc error box. I have always used Sony dvd+R dics and never aproblem, I tried a different brand & type disc, but same result. dvd fab support has not been able to get me resolution. Also, I have checked and my dvd rom will still recognize and play dvd's. HELP please

Hi
Make sure DVD's are bitset to DVD-ROM.
In settings. Check the box "Set booktype to DVD-ROM(Only for DVD+R/RW media)"
To Access Settings. Click on Tick.
Then click Write under the DVD section
Check box as mentioned above.
Personally I also would try un-instaling Fab 5.
Run AdvancedSystemCarePersonal V3 & CCleaner.
Re-install Fab 5.
P.S. Keep key safe.

I checked that box, it was not before. Just tried another dvd and everything did the same. all said it was done successfully, but comes up with disc error when I put in the dvd player. The dvd player still plays everything is used to copy with the program before it started acting up. Any other suggestions. I didn't yet try once again to reinstall.

Does the disc play in your computer? It could be something as simple as a few bad DVDs. Try a different brand if bitsetting does not help.

They won't play back on the computer either, and it shows the disc is full with zero space left. I have already tried other brands and batches of dvd"s?

that means your media has not been finalized is the problem something is interfering with the finalization it can be finalized manually though right click the fab Icon select properties open up the fab folder now open up the VSo folder.
now open up the pattin couffin layer may say pcsetup now click the + sign now click on the drive listed place unfinalized disc in drive right click and select unfreeze/ finalize media with the back up copy in the drive.
