This program works well with AnyDVD running and did not need a third party decrypter to backup any of the Terminator movies, I am sure it might struggle with some of the newer protections and will find out soon enough. |

You may not have a problem with the built in decrypter. Sam updates this software frequently ( seems about every two months). I purchased both programs (Ripper and Copier) in August 2005.

Good to know that updates are frequent; I plan on picking up final destination 3 tomorrow or Monday and I will throw that at the Ripper and Copier. That should be a pretty good test of its abilities.
I am finishing up the Ripper test for full copy backup now, it is taking me a while since I am testing its write worthness in several programs, 1click pro, CloneDVD, recode, and at this time DVDRebuilder is encoding and shrinking to an ISO so I can also test the burn with the new version of ImgBurn.
I am thinking that I might have to purchase these programs just to finish all the testing I am doing with them, going through my trails pretty fast, even the extended trial, LOL

Sam
Thanks for pointing out that I was using an old version of Ripper for this review, I really like the new added ability that you have added when ripping the "Whole Disc" to be able to compress it to DVD5 at the same time. Nice, really Nice.
Thanks for the offer of discounts to the members, I hope the rest of us with give the programs a trail and take you up on this offer.
