Default Verbatims at STAPLES !!! UK

Just want to inform anyone of this great little deal i got yesterday.

STAPLES stores have 50 packs of Verbatim 16x DVD-R MCC03RG20 on sale. They are marked up on the shelf as £12.99 per pack what is ok.

But here is the good bit, if you take them to the cashier and ask for the price they come up as £8.99 for 50. Seriously ,, i had to check this for myself and went to my local staples last night. They were marked as £12.99 as stated but when i asked at the checkout they scanned as £8.99. I grabbed 100 DVD's for £17.98 and that is one heck of a deal.

I recommend getting your skates on to staple and take advantage of this offer while you can. This could be a keying error on their part as the store is normally very expensive. But i can confirm that this does work.

PLEASE CHECK THE BATCHES AT THE CHECKOUT PRIOR TO BUYING , YOU DONT WANT TO PAY MORE THAN YOU HAVE TO DO YOU !!!

Cheers,

McT

Feck

Last time they had a deal going I couldn't get to my nearest one and it looks like the same will happen again

130 mile round trip probably cheaper to order them from SVP on a 99p weekend

Now that is one media i have never had " MCC003"

How do they perform. Cant be better than MCC004.

I do admit that the 16x MCC03RG20 Verbs have slipped in quality over the past year. When i originally got them my scan were with max of 500pif , but now some are well over 2000 pif but luckily with no spikes so they still play great.

The good thing for me with this media is it burns @ 18x and 20x on my faster drive. Allows me to test much better .....

That is pretty reasonable mate. Great source for testing and burning. 600 would last a good while for sure.

When i order some more media from dvd shop online I will probably order some more 8x media too. They are the only place to have Yuden T02 8x +R stuff. And i may get some MCC003 too. Got to try it now.

Cheers mate.
