Also got this from the same Windows Update forum:

This may be of some info for you or others.... I for one, don't have a problem editing the Registry, but other folks may....

Cheers....
Thanks for the info, I`ll keep it in mind if I run into any more problems, it used to do that for a while but since SBC updated their browser skin software or whatever I havent had that problem anymore.

Why are Slysoft Products the number 1 users choice ? ....
AnyDVD works in the background to automatically remove the copy protection of a DVD movie as soon as it's inserted into the drive, allowing you then to backup the movie using a DVD backup tool such as CloneDVD / CloneDVD mobile / 1ClickDVDCopy . You can also remove the RPC region code.

I did some research on software on my computer since I made this previous post. I found that software that came with my Cannon Printer Model # Pixima MP768 does not work with E 7. The software is called Cannon Easy- WebPrint. It allows you highlight anything on explorer, preview it and shrink it down in size. It attached to the tool bar of Explorer:

Canon Easy-WebPrint: Home Page

I have a question about SnagIt 8. Will there be any problems with it. There doesn't appear to be any:

Angry No thanks Microsoft!!

Just downloaded and installed IE 7. So far, this is nothing but a piece of junk!! The only thing it has done with any consistancy is lock up my computer and give me a "Not Responding" error. My computer is a new "out of the box" Gateway and I haven't done anything on it to change anything that should affect IE, but still it can't (or maybe won't) deal with IE 7. IE 6 didn't work so hot either, but at least it ran. I'll be sticking to Firefox....Microsoft can keep IE 7.

BTW - if I uninstall IE 7, will IE6 still be there? I've got kids who still use IE.-----Never mind, System Restore took care of sending IE 7 where it belongs!

I just downloaded E7 about two hours ago without any problem. I found that E7 will print everything the way Canon's Easy-WebPrint used to for E6. You just click the arrow at the printer icon and then right click (with the mouse) "print preview". From there you can edit. If you had highlight part of a page, then right clicked "print preview" it will give you the choice of "as laid out on the screen" or if you click the arrow it will have "as selected on screen". Then it gives you the choices of the number of pages ect. I really love E7.

IE7 is working just fine here; I also gave the new FF 2.0 a go just for comparison and decided to stick with IE7, seems faster on my system configuration. I think everyone should give all three big ones (Opera, FF, IE7) a test ride and decide for themselves.

Now, hopefully CCcleaner with get the few remaining bugs cleaned up so it will be compliant with 7 without the work around.
