I think I read where Alan says he had his best burns using VSO's burn engine over the internal and Nero. |

I just did a back up of "Don't Move" using the VSO burn engine with DVD95. The rip took 19 minutes and the burn took 11 minutes. You were correct. With the internal burn engine this would have taken 30 minutes to burn.
What a great play back and great quality. I used
AnyDVD to review each titleset and removed titleset three and four. I also used
AnyDVD to jump directly to menu (after first making sure the original played back correctly in the ROM drive). A previous back up made with DVD95 that had titlesets removed did not play automatically in one of my stand alone players, Toshiba, RD-XS32. Instead it sat in the tray until the menu was clicked on the remote. It played from there.
This backup played flawlessly in all of my standalone players.
Better yet, the compression in the movie was 71%. It would have been 61% with
CloneDVD2
and 63% with 1Click Pro (and that would have been after it was adjusted to minimum compression).
Clone DVD2 had been my primary back up software primarily because all my backups, even ones with deleted titlesets, always play back in every one of my standalone players.
If this combination of DVD95, VS0's burn engine, and
AnyDVD hold up I have the best of "all worlds". I am able to review titlests in real time with sound. Delete titlesets and have the main movie adjusted to minimum compression and the extras to 30% (the default).
