What:
QSuite is a utility that allows the user access/control of certain features.
Features : -

1st Tab : - Information :

Upper section shows Drive Info.
Firmware Version: Shows current f/w. Enabling user to tell if it’s the latest.
Buffer Size: 2Mb Memory .Used to hold data that is to be read/written.
Connection Jnterface: ATAPI/IDE (ATAPI – [ AT Attachment Packet Interface] The specification for IDE. IDE - [Integrated Drive Electronics] Type of h/w interface widely used to connect hard disks, optical disks etc to a PC.
DVD Region setting: Shows Region drive is set to i.e. 1, 2, 3 etc generally drive must be set to appropriate Region in order to access/play Regional DVDs. However combinations of patched f/w & s/w may bypass this.

Lower section shows Disc Information.

Media Table: Shows if media in drive is supported by drives f/w or not.
Disc Type: Shows just that i.e. DVD-R/DVD-RW/DVD-DL/DVD+R/DVD+RW/DVD+DL.
Manufacture ID: Shows the coating manufacturer.* Example MCC
Media Type ID: Shows the type of coating (this in turn shows the media speed rating as proposed by manufacturer).* Example 004
Blank Disc Capacity: Does just that. i.e. DVD5/DVD9 (Shows this in MB)

Some anomalies appear here *. Unbranded media like Taiyo Yuden can show Media ID in the Manufacture ID (TYG02). But then leaves Media Type ID blank (-).
