Default 1clicktime verses clonedvd2?

I downloaded CloneDVD2 to try and the few movies i have done it has taken
an hour or slightly there above. Know I've been using 1click for a while
and my total times are about half as much. Is it just i don't have clone setup
right or is 1click faster. just thought I'd see before i went and bought another program.

They take about the same amount of time. One may be slightly faster than the other for any given movie, but generally about the same. I've never timed either of them, to be honest, this is just my impression.

I just use the CloneDVD2 settings from the factory... After 3,000 copies, I've never felt the need to even look for any settings to change. I can adjust everything I want from the operational screens.

Yes it was the same DVD and i was checking the end product but they
both looked the same, it just took about 15min longer witch might have been
my fault as I'm new to clone. But thanks for y'all help as always

Critter, you sure your are using the same settings; ie... movie only in 1click and copy DVD titles in Clone ???

I find that both programs are virtually tit-for-tat time wise on my system and will give Clone the edge on consistency for problem free backups over 1click.

yes as far as i can tell i even removed all the other subtitles and other audio
other than the English and got a good back up it just took a bit longer.
i will give it a few more tries before my trails up but I've had 1click a while
and can't say I've ever had any major trouble, and got to confess that it is very easy to use too not as much to fiddle with and get me to frustrated.
thanks for your input though old biker. I try to learn a little everyday

Critter my advice would be to stay with it, as I feel it is an excellent backup tool, very easy to use, and problem free.
I am not knocking 1click as I have had great results with it, BUT CloneDVD2 is user friendly. My backups are a bit faster with Clone.

I find CloneDVD2 from Slysoft to be about 1 minute slower when burning a full 4.3 disc.

As for the Authoring part of the backups I also think 1Click is possibly a slight bit faster...

having said that, I believe CloneDVD2 may be the better product for one reason...

Are ya ready...

Okay here it comes...

Slysoft products are sold from a Country that does not have any laws regarding Copyright infringment! Therefore it is not likely to be closed down like DVDDecryptor was or like DVDXCOPY. You are likely going to be able to get updates for Slysoft Products for many years to come.

All it will take is one member of Parliament here in Canada to jump on the bandwagon about Copyright Infringement and you will likely see LG Software Innovations and their products (1click dvd copy, Pro and 1clickdivx to dvd) dissapear like the 2 products mentioned earlier...

Both 1ClickDVDCopy and it's competitor CloneDVD2 by Slysoft are very decent Backup products for the masses...

No siggy needed!
Thanks KT!

Well maybe just this. LOL

Good lord, I have 10 backup programs on my desktop and to be truthful with AnyDVD running in the background they all take the same amount of time give or take a minute or so.
